The jail operates a corrections division that is responsible for the care, custody, and control of sentenced and non-sentenced inmates. The Jail has the capacity to hold 160 prisoners. Daviess\/DeKalb Regional Jail\u2019s court security division offers controlled courthouse access solutions. The officers also conduct a variety of security checks and searches throughout the Courthouse, including but not limited to handbags and purses, as well as bathrooms, closets, and common areas.
